Aster & Orchid started as a way for Julia and her family members to sell their crafts, which were taking up lots of space in their small home! Currently, it is mostly Julia and Tommy creating fantasy and nature-themed crafts and magical eclectica.
Specializing in fantastic creations and practical gifts, everything is handmade (except for the prints). We are a very small operation, and we put all the time and love into what we bring to you.
Julia (she/they) is an artist and craftsperson from the Maryland side of the DMV. Her day job involves absolutely none of that, which means that craft fairs get all their love and attention. Julia does the fine arts and the decorative elements of Aster & Orchid’s products.
Tommy (he/him) is one of the awesome Game Masters from Games Unbound. His involvement in A&O started when his childhood cherry tree came down in his backyard, and Julia came running to the siren song of free lumber. In addition to working at craft fairs with Julia, he routes out the dice trays and puts on the finish and felt.
