Description

An Asian-style dragon, based primarily on Chinese legend, this dragon carries a piece of raw tourmaline wrapped in copper instead of the traditional pearl. Each scale was hand-burned using a pyrography pen, and the color was hand-painted in several layers to give it the colorful appearance it deserves.

Carved from locally-sourced (Maryland), rescued urban tulip poplar wood, sealed with a polyurethane finish, this hiking stick is the perfect companion for those long walks in the witching woods. It was carved with a mixture of hand and power techniques, and uses the curve of the wood as a guide to let the dragon inside really fly.
